Anyone who’s passionately involved with Sports, understands the importance of up-to-the-minute information; more specifically, the latest news, scores, transfers, rumors, contract signings and extensions, etc… Whether you’re in High School or College, Employed or Unemployed, chances are you won’t be sitting in front of your TV watching Sports Center on ESPN 24/7 – 365 Days a year. In the real world, people are BUSY. You either survive or perish. There is no middle ground. Because of this, it’s really hard to keep up with all the latest happenings in the Sports world. Your favorite team might sign a new player, who might play a key role in helping your team finally win that illusive World Championship, and you won’t even notice. Luckily, thanks to this sweet thing called TECHNOLOGY, you can now get all the latest news, scores, rumors, etc… with just few taps on your Smartphone screen. Now, more than ever, is the best time to be a Sports fan. The amount of information we can access today, from our Mobile Devices, is simply mind boggling.
Over the past couple weeks, I’ve been getting a lot of requests to develop a Screenshot App for iPhone; and although I love the idea, the fact is, you don’t need a separate App to take Screenshots on your iPhone. There’s already a feature built-in the iOS that allows users to take Screenshots of their iPhone screen within seconds. It’s really quite simple.
Being an App Developer and a savvy iPhone user, I’m always looking for Apps that will not just make my life easier, but also the life of my readers. As such, I’m always scouting the iTunes App Store for Cool iPhone Apps. Every once in a while, I’ll find an App that just stands out from the rest .aka. blows my mind.
In case you haven’t noticed, we have recently added a Discussions – Forums – Questions and Answers section to App Store Download.
Users can now register and participate in active discussions with fellow Mobile users. Compared to other Forums, the App Store Download message board is more of a Q&A style, to make sure that the topics discussed are relevant/helpful to other users.
Let’s just say you developed a great App, the App was approved by iTunes, and now the App is LIVE on the iTunes App Store – now what? The App isn’t going to sell itself. You need to promote it; get the word out so the people know that your App exists on the iTunes App Store.
There are many ways to get the word out, but the most effective one is Social Media Campaigning. We live in a digital age, where information appears to travel faster than the speed of light – thanks to the Social Media revolution that has essentially taken over our lives. No matter what you think about Social Media, one thing is for certain: It is one of the fastest ways to disperse information and drive traffic to your Website or Products – which eventually might convert into actual tangible Sales.
Being a fitness freak myself, I know how hard it is to keep track of every single calorie, every single rep, every single exercise, etc… In the past, I had my personal Notebook that I used to carry to the gym with me, and I used to note down my reps right next to the exercise, in a table created by hand. The whole process was so freaking tedious, I eventually stopped doing it. Fast-forward couple years, and now there are Apps that do all this stuff for you. No more carrying a notebook to the gym; you can now record all your Fitness data on your Phone and on the Cloud, with just few taps. It’s that simple.
This is a follow-up to yesterday’s post about Free Download Manager For iPhone.
A Quick Recap:
- iPhone doesn’t have a built-in Download Manager that allows users to download Media files and Documents directly from the internet onto their iPhone.
- Fortunately there are some really good Download Managers available on the iTunes App Store.
- Some of these Download Managers are FREE and some of them are PAID.
- Even though I personally prefer PAID apps, since they don’t have all the annoying Ads, Download Managers are an exception to that rule. Download Managers don’t require a lot of interaction with the actual app; hence it makes no sense to pay for them, when you can get them for FREE. In my experience, a majority of Download Managers on the iTunes App Store have non-intrusive ads.
In this post, I’ll be sharing a list of The Best Free Internet Download Managers for iPhone.
Unlike Android, the iPhone doesn’t have a built-in Download Manager for downloading media files and documents directly from the internet. The most you can do on an iPhone is Save Images from Google to your camera roll; that’s about it. This, in my opinion, is a major setback for iPhone. The reason I say that is because a significant majority of iPhone users would love to have the ability to download files on their iOS device. Well, worry not! You’re at right place. Keep reading.
MUSIC – It’s more than just a 5 letter word. It’s LIFE; It’s PASSION; It’s TRANSCENDENCE.
Music allows us to fully express ourselves, without even saying a word. Music is a vehicle of relaxation. So it’s only fitting that on a warm Sunday afternoon in New York, I sit in front of my computer and write about Music.
In this post, I’ll be sharing a list of the Top 5 Music Apps For iPhone.
After downloading and testing more than 20 apps, I’ve narrowed my list down to the Top 5 Music Apps that every music-loving iPhone user should have on their iPhone.
Let’s be honest, life would be pretty boring without Movies. I don’t know about you, but I can’t sleep without watching at least one movie every night; it’s my vehicle for relaxation and helps me forget about all my problems. Once I pop-in that Blu-Ray DVD in my DVD-Player, I’m transported to a universe unlike any other; where anything is possible; a place where imagination has no limits. I get to know and connect with different characters. Sometimes fall in love. You get the point. I Freakin LOVE Movies.
